Draftsman/Microvellum Engineer
- Responsibilities:
Interpret architectural drawings to create 2D shop drawings using Microvellum (AutoCAD based software). - Review Millwork and construction drawings to check for accuracy.
- Make corrections as necessary and communicate corrections to design team.
- Design and modify products utilizing Microvellum software.
Microvellum can be trained on the job for the right individual. - Collaborate with other departments as necessary to resolve project issues or delays within scope of authority assigned.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED; Associates or higher degree preferred
- 5 years of experience with AutoCAD
- Proficient with Microvellum Software
- Demonstrate experience reviewing construction and Millwork documents.
- Prior experience working in Millwork prefered but can train the right individual.
- Prior experience working in kitchen or bath design a plus.
- Prior experience with construction drawings a plus.
- Must be able to manage time and be a self starting.
- Proficient in microsoft office applications ie. word, excel and outlook
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and as an individual contributor.
- Strong attention to detail.
Finisher
Responsibilities:
- Finish wood products (cabinets, doors, drawers etc)
- Prepare wood products through sanding, filing, taping off, cleaning
- Maintain a smooth and constant flow of work through the area
- Color quality of finished products
- Ensure finished product and paperwork match
Qualifications:
- Experience spraying industrial coatings using Air Assisted and HVLP spray systems.
- Experience spraying Conversion Varnish, stains, glazes, or similar post-cat/2K systems.
- Experience performing basic machinery maintenance.
- Ability to read and understand shop drawings.
- Knowledge of wood preparation for any finishing process
- Ability to make small wood repairs to cabinet parts.
- Basic knowledge of shop hand tools
Laminate Countertop Fabricator
Responsibilities:
- Fabricate postform countetops
- Use power tools to cut and sand parts
- Properly attach labels to finished countertops
Qualifications:
- Ability to read shop drawings.
- Ability to maintain an organized work environment.
- Ability to learn new processes.
- Must be able to lift 50+ pounds on a regular basis
- Capable of using windows 10 .
- Must be able to read a tape measure.
